How is it that once again I stumble over first years playing, in a loud and rambunctious manner, in the halls? Not only were these knee-high pests playing where normal (this does not include you, Potter) people walk, but they were obviously playing 'Heroes and Villains'.

This is a notice to all children; neither I, nor anyone else in my family, are villains. Not falling arse over tit to fawn over Potter, does not give you permission to 'act out' Potter hexing anyone of my relations. Your loud shrieks of 'Mercy, hero Potter' and 'I will do anything! Just please do not hurt me, big hero', are an insult to my name.

The next child found dressed up with a scar painted on its forehead, will get 10 points ducked from its House. Should it be accompanied by a child with its hair charmed white, it will be 20 points.

Should anyone need me, I will be in the Prefect Bathroom, indulging myself with a bath.

I would like to say that right now I completely agree with Mr. Malfoy. Performing in these little skits are just hurtful acts towards our Slytherin prefect and I will give any Ravenclaw involved a stern talking to.

Having said that, I hardly think that these acts involve the removal of such a large amount of house points, especially considering that the perpetrators are often our youngest and newest members. A little patience goes a long way Mr. Malfoy, I'm sure a young man with such a bright future ahead of him can appreciate those words.

With all due respect, professor, children need to learn that this sort of behavior will not be tolerated. Being caught once should be enough to make them see the error of their ways. Patience is just another word for 'soft', professor. Spare the rod and spoil the child.

Now now Mr. Malfoy, while I agree that this sort of taunting should not be tolerated your tone is a bit brash don't you think? Patience is a virtue my boy, not a weakness. I am instilling a detention policy regarding those aformentioned acts, please report these actions to one of the Heads of Houses and we shall deal with it. I hope this has put your mind at ease, Merlin knows this kind of thing has gone on silently long enough.

Alright both of you, I'm quite sure that a prefect wouldn't abuse these journals to pick personal fights and present a bad display for the younger ones and I'm rather disappointed in you Mr. Potter. For a boy who knows what it means to be picked upon, bullying Mr. Malfoy is not exactly the most sympathetic act one can imagine. If this continues in the open I shall have to revoke both of your journal privelages which means a failing Muggle Studies grade, and I'm rather sure neither of you would like that. Projection? Oh Malfoy, odds are ten to one I've been in the Slytherin girl's dorm at least twice as much as you. Oddly enough, on more than one occassion they made jokes about how all Slytherin boys are a bit too...poofy, for their tastes.

Seriously though, could you tell them to stop growing their nails so long? Them more than any other house have this tendency to really dig 'em into my back while...anyway, I'm sure you can get plenty of girls on your own, that's why your dad had to arrange a marriage for you.
